Hi Divers, May 14 & 15 will see ADZ at Gilboa Quarry to kick the season off. We still have room for more PADI Open Water students that need their certification dives and for those that would like to work on their Advanced Open Water. Locally, Baptist Lake has gone above 50* and had 30’+ for Vis. Saturday, May 28 from 12-4pm on Memorial Weekend, ADZ will have our annual season starter Picnic at Baptist Lake. We will load the grill with hotdogs and I hope to see your picnic specials on the table to share. ADZ should have a whole new batch of PADI Instructors to show off then and I believe they have some cool ideas for the afternoon dives. As part of our PADI Project Aware education, we have Syndell Parks of GenPass, LLC who is currently working with Central Michigan University to give a short presentation on Michigan’s Invasive Aquatic Plant & Animal Problem. She will show us how to identify them and how we can help stop/slow their spread.
