GRSC Dry Dives are Back
The Grand Rapids Scuba Club Dry Dives are back, with the first one being held on Monday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m. We are changing it up a bit this year and the location for all dry dives is at Brann’s Steakhouse & Grille on 401 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm but we suggest getting there around 6 pm to socialize with fellow divers get a good seat and order some food!
For our first Dry Dive our special guest is Brandi Grimmer. She is a Nutritionist and is a licensed Pharmacy Technician with over 10 year’s experience. Brandi believes that total health is dependent on proper diet, exercise, and nutritional supplementation. Despite its reputation as a rather lazy pastime, scuba diving can be some serious exercise. Hauling tanks and finning can burn some calories. Brandi aims to help us focus on the diet and nutrition our bodies need to ensure we are ready to perform.
As we have done in the past, we will be collecting canned and boxed food items at the dry dive for donation to a local food pantry in time for Thanksgiving. Your generosity would be appreciated.
Mark your calendar for the first Monday of the month for future dry dives. Those dates are December 4th, February 5th, March 5th, and April 2nd. January will be our holiday party, but the date has not yet been confirmed.

Mar 5th – Personal trainer (exercises to prepare for diving season).
April 2nd – Game Night
