Picnic & Tanks

Hi Divers, Just a quick reminder about our Annual Memorial Picnic next Saturday, May 28, from 12-4pm. We’ll throw hotdogs on the grill and hope you bring something for the table to share. I have been told our MI Shore Dives pamphlet will be here by then so we will bring some so you can have a great resource for those fun Dive weekends this year and we’ll explain how you could enter our Michigan Travel Contest. Oceanic and others have thrown in a few give-aways that we will parcel out and there may be something to find. For Education we have Syndell Parks of GenPass, Inc., presently working on Invasive Plant species studies with CMU, giving a short presentation on Michigan’s Invasive plants and animals. This goes hand-in-hand with the PADI Project Aware program and we can help you use this towards your Project Aware certification. I am putting a tank and weight order in soon if anyone would like something special.
