Mike Palmer is the owner of the American Dive Zone and a PADI IDC Staff Instructor (Instructor Development Course) with the qualifications to teach many specialties. He is also an IANTD Instructor for Tec diving up to Advanced Recreational Trimix Diving and a Trimix Gas Blender. He has also certified to work on Scuba Pro, Oceanic, SubGear, Aeris, Cressi, InterSpiro AGA Masks, Hollis and others.

Tom Thompson is PADI Master Scuba Diver Instructor #97654  and has been diving and instructing West Michigan for years.

Dr. Marcio Curvelo is PADI OWSI ( Open Water Student Instructor) #339317. When he is not busy with his day job as doctor he helps us with training and travel. He and his wife Kim are the newest additions to the ADZ Staff.

Kim Kingsbury-Curvelo is PADI OWSI #339318 and though she has her hands full with young kids she helps with classes and pools.

Mark Kludt is PADI Assistant Instructor #345344 and a certified Oceanic and Scuba Pro Repair technician and Nitrox Gas Blender. He’s been diving since 2002 and enjoys traveling with his dive buddy wife.

Ren Tubergen, PhD. is PADI Assistant Instructor #264098 and our go-to guy for mechanical issues.

Marc Barton is PADI Assistant Instructor #336078.

Rev. Brian Harrison, PhD. is PADI Assistant Instructor #262918.

Mike Wagner is PADI Divemaster #299849, a Nitrox Gas Blender, and avid Technical Diver at American Dive Zone.

Norman Webster is PADI Divemaster #336868 with several years of experience as a Technical Scuba Diver.

Dan Schultz is PADI Divemaster (#320234) & one of the Tec divers.

Dave Pelton, a lieutenant with Georgetown Fire Dept., is PADI Divemaster (#318727.

Sean Williams, a local charter captain for Elixir Charters, is PADI Divemaster #295037.

Troy Hop is PADI Divemaster #300601 and into the Tec scene.

Nate Millard, Divemaster #344503, is our newest Pro member and a great asset for computer knowledge.

Carole works the books and helps staff the shop when we are out diving.
