Shore Diving in Rockport July 1-3!
It has been a while, but I am going back to Rockport, just north of Alpena, this July 4 weekend for some lake Huron shore Diving.
We can do open water dives, advanced open water dives, or just have some fun.
Lots of structure, fish and other things to look at and one weekend I only got 23 foot deep, great for new Divers.
One day I will go up the road about 10 miles to 40 mile point and the wreck of the Joseph Fay which is about 100 yards offshore in 23 foot of water and an excellent wreck/shore Dive.
Rockport is also a great spot for hiking, biking, kayaking and fishing.
There is camping and hotels around and I am staying at the Dew Drop in at the north side of Alpena about 10 miles from Rockport.
There is no fee just to join us and Dive and rental gear is available in the shop.
